Stage 4 Underway July 11, 2007

All 187 riders who finished Stage 3 are back on the course today, so the big crash in Stage 2 has claimed no new victims. Oscar Freire continues to ride well despite a cyst on his tailbone that will probably require surgery after the Tour.
Today’s stage has 4 rated climbs and 3 sprints, so we’ll see plenty of action as teams jockey for green, polka dot and yellow.
I support research and treatment for childhood cancer by riding in the Pan Mass Challenge. The PMC contributes funds for cancer research and treatment at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute through its Jimmy Fund. Together, PMC cyclists have raised more than $171 million, crucial funds that have improved the lives of cancer patients and their loved ones around the globe. This year we aim to raise more than $27 million more for cancer research. Please join me in supporting the Pan Mass Challenge and the fight against cancer. If you would like to support my ride with a donation, please
